GAME: WORLD OF WARCRAFT
CHARACTER: KALEYEN
The battle did not last long, they were after all trainees taken by
surprise after marching for hours through thick mud. However not one
turned to flee from fear of what they were facing or out of self
preservation, they all stood their ground until they were unable to
stand.
Kaleyen was the last one on his feet, his unit, his
comrades, his friends all lay on the ground throughout the small area.
None of them appeared to have series injuries and were merely
unconscious, glancing down at his own body he was in the same shape.
Various cuts and scrapes and places that would bruise but all the vital
area have been missed completely.
Closing his right eye as a cut
above his brow was causing blood to drip into his eye blurring his
vision he gauged his possible options, however bleak they may be. He
didn't understand why these monsters were allowing them to live, why
they weren't going in for the kill, why they were purposely keeping them
alive. But he did now know the importance of a helmet, an experience he
would learn from if he managed to get out of here alive.
Tilting
his sword back, the tip pointed at the blood soaked ground at an angle,
he raised his shield and prepared to charge. He was going to lose this
fight, there was no way around that, but he was going to go out
swinging. Shifting the weight of his feet he let out his best attempt at
a battle roar and ran toward the circle of ghouls. He could feel his
body protest against this current action as they countered attacked and
jabbed their limbs into his sides. There was just too many to block and
with a final upward swipe of his sword he felt himself get knocked to
his knees.
Kaleyen tilted his head up to look at the sun as it
shined down through the clouds, smiling slightly as he closed his eyes
and fell forward onto the damp soil letting the darkness encompass him.
